La modificación anunciada hace dos semanas cortó finalmente el acceso al conjunto monumental por «motivos técnicos para la conservación del patrimonio natural» siguió a otros cambios más ligeros, como el de la salida, que pasará del Paseo del Violón a la calle Poeta Manuel de Góngora (19.30 horas). La 40 edición de la TotalEnergies Media Maratón Ciudad de Granada que se va a disputar el día 4 de mayo contará con una gran novedad y es que discurrirá por los exteriores del monumento de la Alhambra, reforzando la marca de esta carrera como la más bonita del mundo. Las inscripciones para la Media Maratón de Granada 2025 ya están oficialmente abiertas. Por ello, del 24 de enero al 7 de abril de 2025, o hasta que se agoten las inscripciones disponibles, todo aquel corredor que desee participar en la prueba deberá inscribirse a través de la página oficial de la carrera. Se entregarán medallas a aquellos participantes que cubran todo el circuito. El precio de las inscripciones para la Media Maratón de Granada 2025 variará en función de la cercanía a la prueba. Así, como en tantos otros eventos de esta índole, el precio irá en aumento a medida que se acerque la fecha de celebración y quedando totalmente anulada la venta una vez cumplido el plazo máximo. El desnivel del terreno en Granada hace que sea obligatorio subir y bajar numerosas cuestas. De hecho, la media maratón de Granada 2024 cuenta con un desnivel acumulado de 572 metros. Victorias para el marroquí Youness Belyamna y la local Clara López González en la jornada del sábado, en unos 21 kilómetros que pasarán a la historia como la primera vez en la que la Alhambra se vistió de casa runner. Esta será la cuarta de las seis citas programadas dentro del Circuito Provincial BTT Maratón Diputación de Granada 2024.

En este sentido, los corredores de la media maratón de Granada 2024 estrenarán una variación de recorrido muy peculiar. El recorrido, de 21,097 metros de longitud, en el que pueden participar todas las personas, federados o no, y atletas extranjeros que cumplan con la normativa de la RFEA e IAAF, comenzará y finalizará en el Paseo del Violón, al igual que su hermana pequeña, la prueba de 10k. Un circuito que llevará a los participantes a descubrir los rincones más emblemáticos de la localidad a ritmo de running, pasando por lugares como la mismísima Alhambra, el barrio del Albayzín, el Monasterio de La Cartuja o el Casco Antiguo. Granada se prepara para acoger su ya tradicional media maratón, y podemos asegurar que la fecha de celebración de su 41ª Media Maratón, la edición de 2025, ya tiene fecha confirmada.

La gran sorpresa que prepara la Media Maratón de Granada para su 40ª aniversario

Se enamoró del deporte a los tres años, viendo los Juegos Olímpicos de Beijing en un hotelillo de Fuerteventura. Desde que le regalaron una máquina de escribir a los 12 años no ha parado de hacer artículos sobre todas las disciplinas deportivas que conoce. De esta forma se dio cuenta de que quería ser periodista muy temprano y decidió fundar su propia revista deportiva, Chapman. Revista en la que tratan temas relacionados con la actualidad deportiva del fútbol, baloncesto, tenis y atletismo, entre otras especialidades.

Celebración memorable en la Media Maratón de Granada, donde alrededor de 5.500 corredores pisaron los entresijos del monumento más icónico de la ciudad por primera vez en la historia. "Si hasta ahora ya lo era por su paso por el Albayzín, el bosque de la Alhambra y el Realejo, ahora damos un paso más porque los corredores no solo van a pasar por la Alhambra, sino que van a entrar en ella para hacer de la TotalEnergies Media Maratón Ciudad de Granada una carrera ‘boutique’ y exclusiva’", dijo la alcaldesa.

Tras su paso por Salar, Alhendín, Fornes y esta próxima cita de Iznalloz, el circuito visitará a continuación La Calahorra para cerrar en Campotéjar el 27 de octubre. La Media Maratón Granada repartirá trofeos entre los tres primeros clasificados masculinos y femeninos de cada categoría. La bolsa del corredor contendrá un dorsal con chip de mmgranada cronometraje, una camiseta técnica conmemorativa y distintos obsequios proporcionados por empresas patrocinadoras.

Este año pasará a la historia por ser la primera vez que se incluye el interior de la Alhambra en el recorrido de la prueba deportiva. Lo afirman los organizadores de la Media Maratón de Granada que tendrá lugar hoy y, de hecho, la afluencia de público que acompaña a los corredores históricamente le dan la razón.
